I enjoyed this film and would have recieved more stars if it wasn't for the ending. Not enough thought was put into it, it just seemed to stop. I would recommend it to someone to watch, just dont expect anything groundbreaking- Was this review helpful to you?

Not just for fight fans!
By a customer , 07 May 2011A good effort for John Leguizamo's first outing as a director. He has clearly researched the boxing world and the fight scenes are very believable. The ending is very enigmatic and leaves a lot of loose ends which may not suit all tastes but I liked that the writor and director didnt assume that the viewers were idiots who needed spoon feeding every last plot detail. I would recommend the film to anyone who likes a good story - you don't need to be a boxing film fan (as I am not) as there is much more to this film than boxing. It has plenty of twists and good charactors - all the actors do a sterling job, particularly Vanessa Ferlito.- Was this review helpful to you?
