Charles Sheen — the artist formerly known as Charlie — plays a fireman who wins a bravery medal in this generally entertaining thriller. After his wife leaves him, Sheen turns into the neighbour from hell, menacing children (whose model plane breaks his window), killing repairmen and generally behaving badly. The plot has elements of both Backdraft and Falling Down and, while Sheen gives a fine performance, the direction is too mild-mannered to make it as chilling as it should have been.
Plot line used before and not very original. Funny bit was the water-cooler guy and ensuing fight. Sorry, thumbs down.
This is a neat thriller, nothing amazing, but if your a fan of Charlie Sheen, you'll like his performance in this. And if you want a few laughs, there is ... more
