A good family film, to watch on a late saturday afternoon

I really enjoyed this film. I personally dont understand why all the negative reviews. The film is a 12 cert, its a family adventure film. It was never going to be scary.

I could talk about the poor effects, ridiculous, patchy storyline wich only serves to pad out this pile of dross, or the sheer tedium of it all. I prayed for it to end. I thought this little family/fantasy would be good and I wasn't disappointed. This film is easy to watch with a sweet story of family ties at its core. There is action and humour and it contains a good mix of magic, creatures and slime to appeal to all in a family.- Was this review helpful to you?

Entertaining watch
