Disappointing
By a customer from Teesside , 06 Jun 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
I was hoping to get some interesting arguments from watching this DVD, but ended up watching a programme that has been made by someone who has virtually no understanding of how science, politics or society works, For example - they use arguments such as 'In the 1800's, atheists believed the universe had always existed, so now we know it hasn't (because of the evidence of the 'big bang') they are wrong about the non-existence of God '. The old classic 'man is so well suited to his environment, that he must have been designed by a creator' is also here, as is 'something as complex as an eye couldn't have evolved by chance'. Statements like these show a complete ignorance of the fundamentals of how evolution works. The last chapter tries to blame atheists for the downfall of society - the holocaust, communism, and recreational drug use and the problems this has led to. Apparently atheism is responsible for most of the world's ills (although I noticed they didn't include war in this list - I wonder why !?!?!?!)- Was this review helpful to you?

By PantsInHeaven (1 review) , 05 Jun 2011A classic comedy masterpiece! Perfect in every way! I have now been converted and await my place in heaven with all the other loopy people.
I wish i'd seen this when I was a child, it would have saved me thinking for myself all these years.- Was this review helpful to you?

Complete nonsense
By a customer from London , 12 Jan 2009A small child has better thinking skills than those employed by this film.
The entire movie is constructed from logical fallacies, what's worse is that they are clichés.
Apparently Communism was an atheist revolution not a Marxist one. The Russian Orthodox church seemed to have overlooked that, I'll have to tell them.
Not only does this car crash of a movie effectively rewrite history it also attempts to trash elementary science. It does this by completely misrepresenting it and then trashing that misrepresentation.
Apparently the world is made for humans and some things in the natural world are so complex that they must have been made by a god.- Was this review helpful to you?

5 years old will fund Belter arguments for existence of the god.
By Soth (1 review) from Leicester , 17 Sep 2008Film made by Muslim for Muslim with no real arguments. 'Human eye is so complicated that must have been designed.' or 'It no communism collapsed it was collapse of atheist ideology.' and many many others, all silly and stupid. Complete waste of time.- Was this review helpful to you?

persuasive
By John Danson from Blackpool, England , 01 Feb 2007A comprehensive approach to this scientific/philosophical material. Presented with excellent graphics. The approach was based on sound theology - this lacked an attempt to give place a level of revelation.- Was this review helpful to you?
