So it was my own fault. I wanted to watch "Underworld" with Kate Beckinsale in latex, but in a hurry, I didn't check that I had the right movie. Idiot. And "Underworld" (1985) came my way instead.
I thought, "what's the harm?", and watched it anyway. It's based on a story by acclaimed horror author Clive Barker after all. "How bad can it be?" How many have asked that question before? How many people who have rented this film already and rated it made the same mistake I did?
Don't watch this movie. Just don't. You won't get that hour and a half back, and the day you die, you'll wish you could have had an extra ninety minutes.
The film's about mutants being kept underground, hence the "underworld" bit. Denholm Elliot is between Indiana Jones films and looks like he's only in the movie because desperately needs the money to sue his agent.
Like others, I thought it was the Kate Beckingsale film. This film sucks molten death through a short straw. It looks and feels like a low-budget seventies movie. Poor acting, slow pace, poor 'effects'.
