Where this was Unearthed from I do not know! Starts off not too bad you think this could be okay - WRONG! Cheap tacky nasty special effects, bad acting, poor editing, and not remotely scary or tense! You genuinely could not care what happens next. AVOID trust me!

  • Alien Look-a-like terrorises small area.

A huge coincidence that the monster is closely related to the one in Alien (in terms of its looks). Its possibly a close relative. Its a shame as it had potential this film. Anyway, its okay but you cant quite figure out why the monster keeps returning to the same few places when it could mess about on the whole planet. Maybe its a home-bird. Not a film you would watch twice. The female sheriff is very young which doesn't quite fit. Fortunately she had a friend working in the 'outback' who had a full DNA testing kit to determine that the creature probably wasn't from Earth. And I thought people handling Uranium might wear gloves at least but I could be wrong...

If you like monster movies you may like this, its nothing special but it entertained me. The hero has her own nightmares and the town doesnt like her but she does her job knowing they want to get rid of her.

    Pretty samey samey story

Really poor monster graphics in some places( monster a large rip off from H. R Gigers Alien )

Some ok performances from the leads,

    nice cinematography in places

The ending was so dark I struggled to see what the hell was going on.

could have been so much better.

Like so many of these films... it started off pretty good. However soon a relatively good story line fell into the realms of ludicrous and insane.

It isn't until the actors are forced to say more than one or two lines and actually put some emotion into things that you find out that they're not really actors at all!
