Top critics have voted Francis Ford Coppola's war movie Apocalypse Now the best film of the last 30 years. The 1979 drama, starring Marlon Brando and Martin Sheen, is number one on a new poll celebrating 30 years of the London Film Critics' Circle Awards. Warner Brothers' first big summer blockbuster didn't make quite the splash the company would have hoped for as it limped in with a measly $20.3 million in its first weekend at the US box office. Clint Eastwood has won the prestigious Directors Guild of America (DGA) award for his female boxing drama Million Dollar Baby. The US Library of Congress has added a further 25 films to its National Film Registry. New inductees include classic movies such as Ben-Hur, Jailhouse Rock and 1992 film Unforgiven, starring Clint Eastwood.
