By Tranced (135 reviews) from Bridlington , 17 Jan 2013Seriously just do not waste a minute of your life watching this. Don't let your dvd player or computer be contaminated with this pointless filthy ugly trash. It doesnt matter what your age or gender this is just appalling to view. Poor acting, amateur cast, amateur direction, amateur writers. I had to turn this off halfway through because a disgusting smell started to emit from my dvd player. Don't...please, just don't.- Was this review helpful to you?

slow slow slow
By open (230 reviews) , 20 May 2012Slow but quirky tale of people living in a squat - a glamourous squat.
Axel wants to find his dad, Vera has a strange relationship with a man with no name. This meanders on to a nothing end. I would like to see another film by this director in the future- Was this review helpful to you?

All that glitters...
By mattcole (4 reviews) from Kingswinford, West Midlands , 23 Mar 2012I really can't find anything meaningful to add to Tom Huddleston's Time Out review. All that glitters is most definitely not gold. Most of the time you want to slap the protagonists and tell them to grow up a bit. Even the 20-year old me would have said the same... but then I didn't spend my formative years in That London.
Yes, the soundtrack is quite good, in an 'I read Hipster Runoff and can laugh at my own taste' kind of way, but that's hardly enough to hang a film on.- Was this review helpful to you?

La Vieille Vague
By zorilla (221 reviews) from Kew, Richmond , 02 Dec 2011By aping the style and techniques of Godard, Truffaut, Chabrol et al, this film aspires to be New Wave, but that was over 50 years ago and what was once new, vibrant and exciting is now dull, feckless and cliched.
So, there you have it, a dull, feckless cliched film about dull, feckless, cliched lives soundtracked to some dull, feckless, cliched music.- Was this review helpful to you?

annoying and self obsessed
By a customer , 28 May 2011nicely shot and directed but no script to speak of and a cast of annoyingly self obsessed 'hipsters' who needed a good kick up the ass. Couple of good moments (the Hot Monkey miming scene e.g.) did not justify the time wasted watching the rest of it. The sort of film that gets great reviews from festival plays, but fails to get bums on seats. Too many bums on the screen. Ho Ho. If you like the films of Eric Rohmer well, then you've already seen this done a million times better. Don't bother.- Was this review helpful to you?
