    A minor return to form.

Of all the action stars of the 80s and 90s who have since fallen on hard times, Van Damme has emerged with his reputation largely intact. Sure, there have been some bad ones ('Derailed', 'The Hard Corps.') but there have been some pretty good ones too ('From Hell', 'Wake of Death') and this is one of them. Unlike Snipes or Seagal you don't feel like your being ripped-off while your watching it: it's well acted and written and - most importantly - feels like a real film. Recommended.

    Not half bad!

If you're a fan of JCVD as the 'Muscles from Brussels' you will be disappointed by this film but I loved it. JCVD is not in his usual stereotypical high kicking role but shows a little more depth and actually shows that he can act, albeit a little extravagantly - too many bullets mate!!

But a good storyline and plenty action make for a great Friday night film. We liked it lots...

    Good action movie

Its not Van Damme we know. in this film he dosnt show his round spinning kicks or stuff like that.

Its a really good but violent action movie.

If you dont like Van Damme's old stuff like Bloodsport or Double Impact - you will love this one!

    A return to form

Another straight to dvd offering, but harshly judged by some people. This film wasn't your typical Van Damme movie, but i think that's what made it good. It's great to see Van Damme hasn't gone the same way as Seagal just yet.I am a big fan of both of them and i really enjoyed this film, more so than some of Seagal's offerings of late.JCVD has tried to do something different here and it works.Sometimes to me it has the feel of Hard target in places and it's great to see JCVD back on form.He is still making an effort to act in good films.Great entertainment.Shame about some of the dodgy acting from some of the other actors though. That's the only thing that could have ruined it,but because of JCVD'S performance he carries the movie and makes up for the dodgy acting.I bought this i loved it so much.Well worth a rent at least.

    Quality film

quality film, van damme is brilliant as a junkie narc who is a total sh*t to his wife and colleugues. i thought the acting by the bird who plays his ex-wife was bloody awful! people have the cheek to say van damme can't act, you should see this daft bint. really good film, well acted by van damme, not his usual high kicks but very violent and good storyline

    No kicks!

I am big Van Damme fan but this was awful, I watched all of it and not 1 kick or ahhhhh or punch, nothing. just guns and a bad script.

We want you back Mr Damme, quality kicks and cheesy-ness galore, please make the next one better!
