Classic Used CarsBy lincoln64 from Manchester , 05 Aug 2005
[Highly rated reviewer]This film is a classic, I loved this film when I was a kid, the cars are a big winner for me classic american muscle cars, it also features 'Kurt Russell' in I think his first role? This film was also written and directed by Bob Gale and 'Robert Zemeckis' who also made the brilliant Back to the Future trilogy! The humour is more wild than B2TF but still has that loveable chemistry! Has a tinge of Benny hill style comedy in parts with plenty of Ladies baring this and that but the whole mix up of actors and quirky chracters produces a formula that works! Highly Recommend this unless your dead, in which case you wont laugh and enjoy it!

Chariot RaceBy a customer from Falmouth, uk , 03 May 2010
THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Show review anywayHideThis film is filled with creativity. Kurt Russel keeps you engaged thought-out the entirety of the film. Their is car race thats just like the chariot race from Ben-Hur.
5 out of 5, laugh out loud, one of the all time great comedies.By TheRiderSoMysterious (3 reviews) from Birkenhead , 28 Jun 2009it is a massive shame some idiots have rated the film as low as 1 out of 5. do not take their word for it. do not take my word for it either.
RENT IT OUT, MAKE YOUR OWN MIND UP.
i recommend you do so. you will not be disappointed.
this comedy is up there with the likes of quick change, caddyshack, dumb and dumber, kingpin. even if these are not to your tastes, please give Used Cars a try.
make it your next rental :-)
usedcars greatBy gv (31 reviews) from Aberdeen , 18 Feb 2009I saw this film on the old betamax tapes 25 years ago and it is still funny buy or rent now
Completely LikeableBy B Vincent from London , 26 Feb 2007So much better than cynical teen comedies of recent years: about as silly and likeable as a comedy should be, feelgood, with characters you like having around and a really funny, blustering bad guy who's ugly, badly dressed and says 'Son of a BITCH!' an awful lot. Before Robert Zemeckis went on to inspired high-concept movies like Back to the Future and his Oscar-sucking Forrest Gump, he was making great comedies like this. It also has one of the best-worked-out sight gags I've seen since the attempted car-wreck in Sideways.
just.. don'tBy a customer from UK , 17 Feb 2007Awfull. Cringe makingly bad. Only the 3rd film in 100+ I've switched off before the end. It's just not funny. 80's comedy is Police Squad, Blues Brothers, Ferris Beuler, but this is just horrily dated rubbish.
