    [Highly rated reviewer]

I was quite impressed by this game and enjoyed it despite the repetitive nature of the quests. The big battles involving 100's of friends and foe are fantastic, even if the frames per second drops drastically. However, after the long final battle sequence I made my way to the boss and guess what, she was bugged. The character model was 90% of the time invisible, unable to hit me and I was unable to see and hit it. When she did appear on screen the legs were stretched off the screen sideways not even touching the ground and all the textures and details were distorted.

I managed to die somehow and when it reloaded, she was still bugged. I exited the game and booted it back up but this took me to the beginning of the 30+ minute battle sequence and I could not be bothered to do it all again if there is a chance the boss would still be bugged.

There were often also crashes of the game which required the console be switched off before it would respond.

What could have been a good game ruined by a lack of testing and polish.

I would advice anyone thinking of renting this to ignore the reviews and just give it a go, this is one of those games that you will hate or will surprise you and you will love it. I purchased this game because it was cheap and I loved it.

It was what i was expecting.. a few good ideas but was also encumbered with a lot of bad elements. It is a hack n slash game which is similar to god of war .. but not as good.

I would rent this game only if you have no other games to play.

This game is a little bit slow to get into but is actually very fun towards the end, the battles are epic in scale especially towards the end of the game so I'd say it is worth trying just for that reason alone. Usually I tend to prefer shooter games (to be honest the only game I have played in a similar style to this has been Dynasty warriors on the ps2) but I did really enjoy this game. It is a little bit short (completion time on normal was about 10 hours) but that is why it makes a good rent.

To sum up I'd say don't buy it but if you do like a bit of hack n slash fun then definitely rent this.

This game is ridiculously bugged and crashed about every hour or so until i came to a section where try as I may I couldn't progress without the aforementioned software pile up.

Additional to that the game is fairly dull, sound is really naff and very sporadic, graphics are too cutesy by half but you do get to chop heads off which is the one redeeming feature, i emphasise the word one there !!
