David Boreanaz in something other than Angel got me ever so excited, but unfortunately, this film didn't really. He seemed a bit out of place, and Denise Richards was downright awful, though I did like Jessica Capshaw as Dorothy.
Valentine is OK as far as the teen slasher type thing goes and actually has a fairly decent plot, in that it makes sense! And it managed to keep me guessing on the is-he-or-is-he-not-the-killer thing, until towards the end when there is a fairly subtle and very clever clue - watch out for it and you'll see what I mean!
It seemed to me after waching the directors commentary, what could have been one of the most important scenes was actually cut - it told the identity of the killer (though late enough in the film so as not to spoil it) and, more importantly, explained the events of the last few scenes as, not watching too closely at one point, something quite major did confuse me until I watched that bit again. But, then those actually sitting watching properly might have a bit more about them than I did and realise what was going on...
All in all, a fair film, worth a watch with the lights off.

Classic jumpy slasher movie, had me hiding under a pillow a couple of times! The suspense was portrayed well from start to finish!

Standard horror film. Serial killer wearing a mask with hot teens whos death is inevitable. Intense moments spoiled by spoof scenes of death

I enjoyed this. Typical slasher revenge film plot seen it all before but it is what it is and was quite enjoyable. The acting was good the cast were good. Kinda knew what the ending was going to be after about 10 minutes but it didnt really matter as I enjoyed the film itself

The acting is pretty poor and the dialogue is hardly better.

Killing girls who were mean to you in school is a tired, old trope. They wouldn't dance with you when you were 12! Oh, boo-hoo. Oh, right, but you're ker-azy! Then it makes sense. Not killing the boys who beat you up? Maybe that was in another film? That's right, blame the women. And the women in this film? If a police officer ever put his hand on my knee I'd report him and get him suspended. And it's hardly realistic for these women to gang up on some woman who is trying to tell you that a man is a con-artist.

Also, what is with killing people who trying to get one over on the people you wanted to hurt? That doesn't make sense. Unless you wanted them out of that way... but all you were going to do was kill them anyway so what the hell does it matter? Oh, God, I don't know!

Oh and one more thing, if you only have one big name actor for any of your male characters it's like getting a big, red sign that screams, 'I'M THE KILLER!' with an arrow pointing to his face.
