A terrible film.

A terrible film. Two hours of poor acting, an unfathomable plot, and special effects courtesy of the Children's Film Foundation.- Was this review helpful to you?

(11)A master-class in how not to produce a movie......
By a customer , 27 Feb 2013Putting shoddy material like this into the professional movie & television arena at least demonstrates to us all why the production of televisual media is actually a very skilled process. In our era of digital video technology available on a smart phone, it really shows that anyone can make a movie - great, but only the professionals can make movies professionally [and even they frequently birth turkeys!!] I can only guess that this had funding due to its Gay/Horror theme, which probably fitted into a required category to gain the money! As a one time film student, and fiction-writer, guys, this truly should not have left a classroom discussion at a night-school. The only saving grace was the lovely bare chests of the boys!...if only that was enough to save this piece of amateurish nonsense.....- Was this review helpful to you?

Worst film in the world EVER!
By Cyinternational (5 reviews) , 18 Feb 2013I have seen perhaps 1000s of films in my life and around 700 on Love Film alone and this is singularly the worst film i have ever seen. Only thing worth watching was Rhys Howells because he was cute. All actors were appauling and i cannot believe this available on Love Film it seems like someone made it for a student course or something - it is horrendous!- Was this review helpful to you?

DO NOT WATCH!!!!
By pixie1955 (1 review) , 07 Feb 2013This film was at best boring. The story line was dull, the filming was at best useless. My 5 year old nephew could have done better. The acting was at it's best like cardboard. I did watch it all the way through as I have a general rule regardless of how bad to watch a film in it's entirety. The ending was just shocking!!- Was this review helpful to you?

words cant describe how terrible this film is
By Ben-Newman (1 review) , 15 Jan 2013words cant describe how terrible this film is.... the idea of gay vampires is amazing but the way this story line worked out was terrible.... the acting was even worse! Most of the actors sounded as if they were talking through a funnel. NOT EVEN VAMPIRES - they had abilities like transforming into other people and teleporting?? what a terrible film... DONT WASTE YOUR TIME- Was this review helpful to you?

Home movie with delusions of grandeur
By Libretio (24 reviews) from UK , 05 Jan 2013[Highly rated reviewer]
I feel a bit of a fraud, giving this one star, since I only made it through 30 minutes before fast-forwarding the rest, but I couldn't resist submitting a review. A tip of the hat to the filmmakers for trying something new in gay 'cinema', but this is a home movie, shot on camcorder (in fake widescreen, no less). The actors are clearly not professional, but some of them - including the two leads - are genuinely attractive, even if the harsh lighting and hideous closeups conspire to reveal every zit and dermatological blemish. In fact, the film is beyond awful, and should never have been acquired for release by Peccadillo, since this kind of thing gives gay cinema a bad name. No wonder audiences for these movies are dwindling away if this is the kind of thing filmmakers and distribs think we're prepared to tolerate. When I say it's a home movie, I'm really not kidding. An AMBITIOUS home movie, to be sure, but a home movie nonetheless. Still, it DID provide me with the best laugh I've had in ages - the mighty vampire goddess, spouting reams of high-minded dialogue through a gobful of plastic choppers! She can barely get the words out, but she hams it up like a trooper - that's dedication for you. I giggled like a girl.- Was this review helpful to you?
