Vampyros Lesbos

Long considered something of a Holy Grail among European lesbian vampire films, this film has long been unavailable on video and has finally been given a good transfer on this re-release. The plot is really beside the point here, but, as you may have guessed, it's about a vampiress who seduces women and then feasts on their jugulars. Stylish in a way that only a film made in the late 60s can be, VAMPYROS' director, Jess Franco, made over 150 films in his lifetime, using more than 30 pseudonyms. To be sure, this one's a classic.

  A continuity of error
  
  This film appears to have been edited so much that the continuity is now so bad that it has lost what little story line it had.

  lesbian vampires?
  
  I guess girls just wanted to have fun in this one. However, if you want to see real shots of lesbian vampires I recommend Female Vampire by the same author.
