Good rental choice, but I'm glad I didn't buy it.

It's discs like this that make cheap rental worth while. The main feature's only 30 minutes and although there's a 'making of' for the original movie, this will almost certainly be included in the movie DVD release and so doesn't really count. The main feature's good in a cheesy sort of way, but represents amazingly poor value for money if you were to buy it out-right.
So we have a short animated film, with a far fetched plot using the Jekyll & Hyde characters against Van Helsing & sidekick that also manages to include Queen Victoria. The animation is OK, but nothing special though it does make Van Helsing look like a Vampire Hunter D rip-off.
However, despite all it's flaws, I still enjoyed it in a fun-way-to-spend-30-minutes-but- probably-wouldn't-watch-it-again sort of way.- Was this review helpful to you?

good but to short to be worth the rental
