Conspiracy thriller Vantage Point, which stars Dennis Quaid (Inner Space, The Day After Tomorrow, Traffic) and Oscar winner Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland), has shot to the top of the UK box office on its opening weekend. Thriller Vantage Point, starring Dennis Quaid and 2007 Oscar winner Forest Whitaker, has knocked action flick Jumper off the top spot at the US box office, according to official figures. Prehistoric mammoth-masher 10,000 BC has trampled the opposition to take the number one spot at the UK box office, new figures from Nielsen show.
