Actor/writer Peter Berg (acclaimed for his role in The Last Seduction) made his directorial debut with this very black comedy that's certainly not for the easily offended. Berg brings together a cool cast — Christian Slater, Jeremy Piven, Daniel Stern, Leland Orser, Jon Favreau — for a twisted and hilarious tale of mayhem that begins when bridegroom Favreau and his pals embark on a stag weekend in Las Vegas, before his marriage to the beautiful but ruthless Cameron Diaz. Their booze and drug-fuelled party goes awry, however, when an unfortunate accident leaves them with a dead stripper on their hands. Before long, friends are pitted against friends and the body count rises. This gruesome tale is propelled by a sharp script and topnotch performances, especially from Slater and Diaz, and those with a warped sense of humour should be enthralled.

  • Gruesome black comedy, of homicidal mania let loose, that escalates into a very sick joke; it will be enjoyed by those who find dead people funny.

Not a very bad thing (I went down The Sun route!)

Very funny and dark. Can be a bit slow at times but when the laughs come, they are worth the wait.

A group of friends head out for a stag night but one thing after another goes wrong. Simple plot but I love it.

    Top 10 - Cameron Diaz

Top 10 - Cameron Diaz The Mask (1994) Cameron leapt into the limelight in 1994 with her role as the blonde sex siren Tina Carlyle in The Mask. Pairing her with the irrepressible Jim Carrey, who plays Jackel and Hyde character Stanley Ipkiss, it launched her career, highlighting her natural charisma and comedy timing. Not bad for a former model. My Best friend's Wedding (1997) One of Diaz’s late 90s rom-coms that once again highlights her natural charm. At college Julianne Potter (Julia... Read more
