A drear remake with a somewhat larger budget, but a decrease in skill and interest; there seems no reason to reproduce an old film, unless it is to exhibit the makers' lack of imagination and originality.

Was okay, just had to see it as I had seen the black and white film as a child. Acting was...okay. Film...was ...okay. Teenage sons thought it was awful !
was a ok film until the children grow up then it becomesa bit boring in parts but im glad i saw it and it was nice to see christer reeve playing in the lead role
