    [Highly rated reviewer]

After being bored by some fighting games in the past i though i'd take a chance of Virtua Fighter 5. Whilst it does still have the classic arcade mode fighting option, it bolsters its offering with the Quest playing option. The Quest basically lets you pick and choose fights with various different virtual players in a virtual city arena with different arcade to fight people in.

The graphics are simply stunning, and the various 360 achievements keep you interested for more than the normal 1 hour trial i give games i rent.

  • A Good technical fighter

Some of the reviews here are harsh, people need to understand if youve never played Virtua Fighter before, that it is a very technical fighter, it is nothing like Tekken, and certainly nothing like Street Fighter etc. It is based more on realism and it is a very solid game if you appreciate it for what it is. If you like martial arts over fireballs then this is more for you.

  • Virtua sh***er 5.

I love a good beat em up! Who does'nt? It could be the gore fest that is Mortal Kombat, the random button basher otherwise known as Street Fighter or the stylish and complex fighter, aka Tekken, I love a good beat em up.

However Virtua Fighter 5 is not good.

I have fond memories of VF 3 back on the Mega Drive, but the only feelings I'll associate with VF5 are those of pure frustration.

Although it looks damn good don't be fooled as the game play is shocking and the computer AI ranges from the ridiculously easy to beat to the controller smashing difficult.

Don't even bother, SF iv would be a far safer bet.
