Long-term game

Virtua Tennis: World Tour is a feast for the eyes. The game utilises PSP's super-smooth graphics excellently, and also is very easy to pick-up and play.
All games are reasonably short, allowing for quick games on the bus, and the system also auto-saves which is important for the same reason. Lots of sub-games, which are good fun to play.
Only drawback so far is that it can take quite a while to get anywhere on the Tour, and you have to do some of the training exercises again and again which can get a bit tedious.
Overall, an excellent game though.

By a customer from Wellingborough , 27 Apr 2008Enjoyed the game, but was unable to save it - it kept telling me I did not have enough space on my memory card despite there being over 3.5Gb free!!- Was this review helpful to you?

Great tennis game
By a customer from Watford, England , 13 Oct 2006I used to play this on my dreamcast and was a bit sceptical about the conversion.
However, after borrowing it from LoveFilm, I realised how good it was I went and bought a copy on the same day.
A great classic game!- Was this review helpful to you?

More fun than watching Henman
By Ricky Cartwright from Bristol, England , 09 May 2006I enjoyed playing this game, and found it good fun. There are a lot of different modes to chose (singles, doubles, tournaments etc)from with real world stars as selectable tennis players (and tim henman!). Theres also a world tour mode which I found to be great fun as you starts with your own created male and female tennis players and have to play in various training games to increase your stats. the training games range from things such as serving to knock down bowling pins and returning balls to destroy tanks. these are fun and as your stats increase and you enter tournaments your ranking will increase from its initial level of 300. this alows you to enter more tournaments and win prize money which you can use to buy better equipment for your player, or unlock things such as new courts to play on.
all in all this is a good fun game, but I found that after a week I was starting to get a bit bored of it and probably wouldnt play it much in the long run, which makes it ideal for rental!- Was this review helpful to you?
