Denzel Washington plays good as the good guy cop and Russell Crowe as the criminal with many personality's of murderers of the past (hes a computer come to life in the real world) and only denzel can stop him!

Russell Crowe was born for this part, a virtual character out of control not unlike himself at this time. He was funny and exciting, frightening and darkly handsome. Denzil washington played the part of a seriuous cop hard done to by the system and society with aplomb. A fun film to be enjoyed and not taken too seriously.

This is a film made back when people believed that computers could do ANYTHING within our lifetime, some people still believe that, but this is a more positive outlook on techology, sort of. It still warns of the bad that could happen, but unlike more piss poor films (I'm looking at you, The Net!), this has a slightly more believable, near future feel to it, and is well thought out. I suggest watching it when you can.

I was only a young teenager when I first saw this, I thought it was brilliant.

Now I'm 25, it doesn't seem as exciting as I remembered it.

The story is a little empty in places.

Virtuosity isn't a bad film, but perhaps they could lower the certificate. This was definitely more appealing when I was 12-13 years old.
