Informative and enjoyable
By a customer from Bradford , 09 Nov 2008Enjoyed. In fact am buying the box set of Series 1 and 2 as never saw them on tv. They are very useful as I like hill walking and aim to do the walks I havent already done. Hope they do a 3rd series.- Was this review helpful to you?

More superb lakeland
By Brythefly (85 reviews) from Wolverhampton , 12 Jun 2008This series, and the previous one, are an superb introduction to fell walking. they give an excellent idea of the terrain to be expected and the difficulty of the walk. I thnk that they complememt Wainwrights books, adding a touch of Technicolour to his excellent descriptions and graphics.
The only caveat I can offer is don't be too encouraged by the sight of Ms Bradbury striding along with a more or less empty rucksack................I suspect that there is a fully equipped support team close by! Us mere mortals would need to carry a little more in the way of provisions and equipment, Lakeland weather is liable to change dramatically and rapidly!
