(78)Strangely Good
By a customer from Edinburgh , 16 Nov 2008Seems like this was a half-assed joke stretched into a film but in the stretching enough hilarious material seems to have been injected to make it work. It is about time somebody put the biography in its place and while this isn't particularly cunning or witty in its parody of the biography cliche it had me laughing anyway. Helped by some funny songs, some good running gags, great cameos and a great leading performance this is good nights in worth of comedy. Recommended if you like silly-but-inspired comedy.- Was this review helpful to you?

Pants.
By a customer from Enfield , 11 Nov 2008This film is pants. It's not funny, it is funnier than Semi-pro but that's not hard. I have actually lost time from my life now that I have no way of getting back.- Was this review helpful to you?

WALK HARD AWAY FROM RENTING THIS
By a customer from London , 04 Nov 2008Painful. Managed to watch less than half before having to switch it off or go on suicide watch. I have always really liked John C Reilly and I this is the first tiem he has disappointed. The script is terrible and clunky and cliched. Feels like it was written by someone at school who has copied someone elses homework titled 'write a comedy about walk the line.'
Watched with 6 people and after 15 minutes of silence without one smirk someone said 'are you sure this is supposed to be a comedy?' - Thats how bad it is!- Was this review helpful to you?

One of the worst films ever
By a customer from London , 18 Oct 2008This film completely relies on the viewer having seen 'Walk the line'. Taking that into account it just wasn't funny. It was terrible from start to 25 minutes at which point I had to turn it off.
I don't normally write reviews but was so upset at having wasted my time renting this I felt compelled to warn others. Avoid.- Was this review helpful to you?
