Why oh why do they bother

Kevin Sorbo...Hmmmm. You've got to ask yourself why on earth did they bother to remake the walking tall film with the rock, as if it wasnt bad enough 1st time around, you can see the new 'revamped' version all over again.

I mean the 'original' with the rock, it was a bit 'cheesey' but midly entertaining if you need to turn the brain off for 90 minutes to enjoy a film, sometimes its good to do that. But come on, is there really that much of a shortage of originality in hollywood now?!?

Watch this space, next year it's being remade again starring Dolph Lungren!!!

    A let down

The first walking tall remake with the Rock was quite good, if a little cheesy.

The action scenes where decent, and the film was overall enjoyable.

This is simply a cash in on that films sucess. There seems to be alot of '2's' coming out at the moment, such as the butterfly effect 2, which simply cash in on the 'brand name' and a massive let down.

Nothing of significance happens in the film, maybe worth a sunday afternoon viewing, but if your looking for top quality action, stay away from this!

    walking tall 2

Alot better than the 1st film,

It`s about a small american town over run by hoodlums, the town folk are too scarred to do anything, but as things progress it ends up with 1 man to reasure the the town folk things will get better.

There are many films on the market that relate to this film, but the only thing going for those films is the amount of violence they contain, this story line was well written and with just the right amount of violence and with having kevin Sorbo starring the film is evenly balanced.

    Don't come crawling back

Same plot line, lesser actors = poor copy of original. Unless you have nothing much better to do you will probably want to avoid this. If you have seen the first movie (with The Rock) then you will probably want to avoid this to save disappointment. Don't get me too wrong as it is watchable its just has failed to develop whatsoever from the first movie and if fact it has gone back over in overall terms.

    SUPRISED AND SHOCKED

When I saw this film, I thought 'I cant believe they've done this', I liked the first one but didn't love it when I watched it the first time, however, this film was really good, there were decent car chases, great twists and turns in the plot and the movie doesn't stop. It has very little romantic sub plots which sometimes reduces the quality of this sort of film. I would highly recommend getting this film even if you haven't seen the first one as it doesn't really follow on, which is a good thing considering all the characters and Actors are different, in fact its almost a remake of the first one and doesn't really need to be called a sequel. they could have given it a different name completely and no-one would be any wiser, so all in all I gave this film a high rating because i was very entertained and enthralled in the plot, I am now buying this film off Amazon for a very low price, would recommend this film to people who enjoy action stars such as Van Damme and Seagal, Kevin Sorbo does a tremendous job in really making you believe what is going on and even the little known actors which are in it are really good.

    Quiet Night In

If you are looking for a quiet night in with a film that doesn't have much action, comedy, or pretty much anything this would do ot.

It is a monotonous film which will leave you checking the time on your dvd player to see when the film ends and you can fall asleep.

The actors had to work with a bad script at the best of times, but there was no emotion, no sparks, no nothing. the best way to describe it is compare black and white, to colour. this is black and white.

    Not good

I didnt find myself zoned in on this film as its a lot like the first walking tall with the rock in. Same story line. Not really worth watching i find the first walking tall is a lot better and has more action in.

    Smaller Walking!

This is another version say a tv version of the Joe Don Baker and The Rock Movie, with less cheesyness than the others. This is more realistic than any movie with loads of movie effects no computer animations just plan old hard hitting movie making.

    Garbage

Having mildly enjoyed the original with the cornyness you can't help enjoying from The Rock, this sequel is a waste of money and does no favours for any actors trying to better their career in the movie business.

The plot was almost identical to the first, the script lousy and the plot predicatable.

I don't often write review on film but having tortured myself to watch the whole duration of this film in the slight chance it may actually get better, I feel compelled to stop people wasting their time by having to suffer this film.

Add 'Watching Paint Dry 2' to your DVD rental list instead.
