Watch out for disc 2

Disc 1 is th series, disc 2 is just a technical making of.

Unless you are into that sort of thing, it's a waste of time.

Episodes: Programs One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six and Seven. This is all about the making of Walking with Dinosaurs - how difficult it was, how much effort went into it, the animation, puppetry and the archaeology! Also how much of a say Paleontologists had a say in the creation of this series, which was a surprising amount - they wanted this series to be as accurate a portrayal of dinosaurs as could be humanly done. This series is fantastic and is highly recommended as it is viewable by people of all ages. This DVD is a good choice and compares very well with other DVDs of a similar point of view. This was made very well indeed and look out for the credits and opening sequences for each program as they are very interesting and amusing!

Dinosaur galore

Its good to watch for 30 minutes but after watching it for 2 hours, can get a bit boring. Good for children, who is learning about the Dinosuars and the graphics and information is beneficial as well.

Wouldn't consider to add this to my DVD collection though.

I really enjoyed this dvd. it shows how dinosaurs lived and gives you an insite to them. a good film for all the family.

walking with dinosaurs (disc 1)

I took a chance with this one as i rented it for my 4 yr old, dinosaur mad, son.

Despite that it is aimed at a more adult audience he loved it and watched it over and over!!

Not sure how some 4 yr olds would react though as it is very 'real'.

Overall, great for anyone with an intrest in dinosaurs or natural history, but common sense from a point as to how a younger one would react is down to the individual childs nature!
