Rubbish!!
By bromide (4 reviews) from Bedworth England , 14 Feb 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
This has got to be the worse film /documentary I have seen. French film with Arabic speaking with English subtitles.
There was nothing good about this film, infact I ended up switching it off as I was so bored and depressed.- Was this review helpful to you?

By a customer from Twickenham , 31 Dec 2008This is a moving meditation on the building of the wall in Palestine, an act of barbarism eloquently filmed by Simone and relevant to today's holocaust happening in Gaza, pity there are not more films like this, seems Hollywood triumphs with its glib superficial analysis of everything- Was this review helpful to you?

Customer Review
By a customer from UK , 23 Jun 2008"Wall" is an unremarkable documentary about a large barrier that has been constructed in Israel to keep the two communities there apart. The film is neutral about the Wall ,neither pro nor anti it ,with much of the film spent interviewing people involved in its construction or impacted by it's presence."Wall" is a little overlong at 95 minutes; an hour long TV documentary would have been quite sufficient and the film's subject matter never quite managed to engage me.- Was this review helpful to you?

A good and informative Documentary.
By chrism (15 reviews) from London , 17 Dec 2007I found this to be an informative and interesting documentary.
Especially since in the three years the wall has been completed it has been widely regarded as a security success story.
It just seems to prove what we have learnt from history, the only way some neighbours can live in peace together, is behind some very high walls.- Was this review helpful to you?

illuminating
By a customer from Kent, England , 27 May 2007an honest, thoughtful and very beautiful film which dares to look at an unpopular issue - how can a people so oppressed and damaged by their own history choose to ghettoize themselves while imprisoning their neighbours. 'Wall' looks at the problem from the points of view of those who live with and by a wall which achieves no good - and costs everything. A sad and lovely experience. watch and learn.- Was this review helpful to you?
