Action, Archers & Arrows!
By Ron666 (13 reviews) , 14 Jun 2012[Highly rated reviewer]
If you are thinking of watching this film you are probably a fan of Asian films like myself. If not be aware this is a Korean movie with subtitles...
There is a nice build up of the story and enough action which builds to a good ending. The clue is in the title and the action comes from archers that could hit a penny at 50 yards and even bend arrows! Korean films of old where never as good as the Hong Kong offerings but this has a high production value and I would say its worth a watch for an Asian action film fan.
Not sure if this film will convert you to Asian cinema but why not give it a try?- Was this review helpful to you?

(22)hate bad reviews because of subtitles!
By tooperman (1 review) , 09 Mar 2013Would have given it 4. 5 stars only thumbs are too big!! Really enjoyed the movie. Simple story line which made the subtitles easy to follow. Looks fantastic. Great movie!- Was this review helpful to you?

House of Flying Arrows
By Kinkyfish (112 reviews) from York, England , 10 Feb 2013What a thoroughly enjoyable film. If you liked House of Flying Daggers - which I love!! - you'll like this one. As an Englishman I feel I need to draw a comparison with this and Robin Hood (Ridley Scott's version), purely on the basis that they are both loosely based on history and feature bows and arrows as the focus on weaponry, and quite frankly this is awesome and RS's Robin Hood is terrible. Everyone should watch this one instead. :)- Was this review helpful to you?

a great and unexpected treat
By Rerek (4 reviews) from Thatcham , 31 Jan 2013An unexpected gem. The film can be slow but it is also mesmerising. The hero is haunted by his past and seems full of fear at times, unlike most one dimensional asian heros. The other hero is a dillitante coward who grows into his role. This evolution of the two leads adds depth to the film. The bad guys are evil, but again so well played you begin to care for them and they become more than 'arrow fodder'- Was this review helpful to you?

Worth watching
By cmc007 (1 review) , 19 Jan 2013Enjoyed it, always like an Asian film to mix it up and this was really good so definitely go and rent it! Has subtitles though in case that wouldn't have been obvious with it being a Korean film!- Was this review helpful to you?

War of the arrows
By vet2 (1 review) , 20 Nov 2012Took a little while to get into it but did enjoy it. Very different to Chinese films but it has its own charms. I would watch another Korean film.- Was this review helpful to you?
