Peace not war

Jet Li is a action hero, having made may martial arts film he has proven himself one of the best. Jason Statham is pretty much the new boy in the action stakes (having made such great films as Crank, Transporter 1 & 2, and Snatch). Considering these 2 athletes I expected a really cool film with some excellent fight scenes. I was disappointed. When the action started it was excellent, but unfortunately a little on the sparse side. The film spent too much time trying to be cool at the expense of action. Don't get me wrong, it was a good film, just not up to the usual standard that both these actors usually deliver.

Confusing Film!

I found war had quite a confusing plot to follow. I am usually the 1st person in the family to understand what is happening but the ending does leave you very confused. ;S The array of famous actors within and throughout the film do add to it's credibility as a good film but in my opinion isn't a good enough film to bother watching.
