Quantity not Quality
By AdrianWalsh (226 reviews) from Lancaster , 10 May 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
I have to hand it to Warp - they really pack the videos on this DVD. The unfortunate thing however is that 80% of the videos are really not worth watching. I am a big Warp Fan and enjoy the music but the visuals really are nothing to shout about. Don't get me wrong there are some fantastic videos on here - Aphex Twins, Squarepusher are classic videos, bith directed by Chris Cunningham - so I would recommend you get The Works of Chris Cunningham instead, this is Quality not Quantity. I was really looking forward to watching this but it was a huge let down. Sorry Warp.- Was this review helpful to you?

Does what it says on the tin. Which is rather dull really.
By Tom Stickland from Stroud , 02 Feb 2008It's a collection of videos from Warp releases. Nothing more. Nothing very interesting happens. One or two tracks are quite amusing. Quite a useful way of checking out Warp.- Was this review helpful to you?

warp visions
By grahamnewlands (15 reviews) from Inverness , 15 Jan 2008An excellant back catalogue of some of warp records finest moments. Includes the full length Aphex Twin 'windowlicker' and 'come to daddy.' Some of the videos are showing their age but provide a great picture of the early rave scene through to more modern electronic classics. A wide variety of tunes from the laidback jimi tenor to the more intense industrial sounds of auchtecre and aphex twin. Overall a great selection of techno/electronica with some very rarely seen videos.- Was this review helpful to you?

By a customer from London , 04 Sep 2007Warp videos..thats all and thats fine. Most you may of seen like the brilliant Chris Cunningham videos.
Some of the vids are obviously dated, like the LFO ones, but the music is good.
It is what it is..warp artists videos.- Was this review helpful to you?

Warped and squished
By martin richards from Devizes, England , 16 Jul 2006The time of speed jungle and aphex twins uncomfortable unnerving but electronic squishing and knob turning modern sounds. The videos are often genius trying to accompany new frontier sounds that are hard, or underground and oblique to pigeonhole. It is eclectic, challenging and out there, but you can leave conformity behind as new frontier spokesman and ladies try and explain what new is all about. It is not 'easy' viewing but challenges any preconceptions, and that is a good if sometimes a challenging thing. Good if hard core electronic sounds and japanese/industrial images from the underground sort you out.
Try it.- Was this review helpful to you?
