Worth a watch

I was pleasantly surprised by this film (which has a fairly uninspiring synopsis), and found it amusing and quirky.
The plot is a simple one, essentially just two people meeting and getting to know one another but because they are both unconventional so are their encounters.
The supporting cast of misfit friends add to the humour and you would almost like to see more of them.
Cillian and Lucy are not a combination that immediately springs to mind for co-starring roles but that it probably why it works here.- Was this review helpful to you?

By a customer , 15 Jan 2013Being as this movie is character driven, it was great to see Liu & Murphy working together. They brought some real personality to this film. The cast worked well in this movie, with some credible actors. Not a solid story line, but the script was playful & unpredictable in places, which kept it interesting. Great cast, average movie
By a customer , 09 Jan 2012I'm a big fan of Cillian Murphy and decided to give this movie a go. Its quirky and funny at moments but I can't seem to understand what the point was after the movie had finished.
Lucy Lui plays Violent who has 'boraphobia' and cannot be bored invents all these scenerios and mind games which Neil (Cillian Murphy) falls for.. all the time. The two embark on a wierd romance which has it moments, but I can't help thinking that Violent is just barking mad!
All in all, this movie is probably best suited to be played in the background- Was this review helpful to you?
