This is a lot like Endless Summer, which if you're reading this review you've probably already seen. Bruce Brown narrates throught the whole film with a few slipstick intermissions from the various surfers added in here and there. The most amazing thing in this film is the size of the waves being paddled into on huge, slow, hard to turn longboards that people would only consider towing into with jet skis nowadays. Some good footage from the North Shore on pretty big days especially Phil Edwards at Pipeline. Also includes footage from Mexico and Western Austrailia and manages to get over the exploration and dedication of going to a lot of effort to travel to unknown places to find previously unridden waves.
