We Are Family

There's nothing wrong with this story except for the fact that I have already seen the Hollywood film and I just couldn't stop comparing the two films the whole way through which kind of ruined it for me. That's not to say I would have enjoyed it if it wasn't a remake because I don't think I could have no matter how good the actual storyline is.

The story is the same but they changed certain things...like the girlfriend moves in with the whole family (Dad and all) which I found slighty disconcerting...there's a random song in the middle, also strange and they added an extra kid which I didn't really see the point of.

Kajol doesn't have Susan Sarndon's feistiness and Kareena Kapoor lacked the sparkle that Julia Roberts has. Arjun Rampal gives a pretty poor performance as the man stuck in the middle but the kids are really good little actors!

I found this to be boring and a bit wooden...defo shouldn't have bothered watching it but then they shouldn't have bothered making it!

I throughly enjoyed We are Family. It is a family drama. It is an engaging movie from the moment it starts and will really touch you. Kajol, Arjun and Kareena provided quality acting and show why they are experienced campaigners in the industry. The poigant story and strong characters stand out really well in the movie. It is lovely and beautiful piece of film making. Bollywood is showing true signs of maturing as an industry. We are Family is a great film to watch.

I loved this film, ended up watching this twice! Its very sad...had tears in my eyes when watching it!!

I would def recommend this film.

Copy of stepmom but...I would say better!

Both Kajol & Karrena are fantastic in it.

Would definitely recommend...very sad film , I even cried...which is very rare!
