    Thunder Herd

This is a really great film. I think the movie has captured the real sense of how this tragic accident affected this town and it was dealt with very well.

A good movie well worth watching. You don’t need any prior knowledge of American football but it do’s help.

An interesting glimpse into the American way of life!

I'm a sucker for true stories. I found it interesting to watch this movie, because a town is torn apart when their football team all die in a plane crash, and initially the public outcry is to not to play the game altogether due to the tragedy. Which I found rather silly, seeing as football as just a game and nothing more: however this is not so much a movie about football as a movie about choosing life and the healing process that should be about choosing life despite it's inevitable tragedies. A moving story, with superb acting and and an uplifting message!

    we are marshall

this was very emotional throughout, the fact that it was a true story emphasised this even more so. how so many lives were taken in such tragic circumstances. found this to be very warm and fulfilling, had a sense of true community about it. may have been a little long but thats really its only flaw. aside from that it was a decent enough tribute

    yeah America, yeah!

If you studied in the States and went to Marshall University, you'll like this film as you can say 'oh, I've been there' several times. If you like American football and like American football movies, you'll like this film.

If none of the above, I'd maybe not bother. Typical American sports movie.

    What an inspiring story !!

This story was so inspiring moreso since it was based on a true event. We found it sad yet uplifting as the people pulled themselves up out of the incredible grief. Wonderful performances from some great actors!
