A classic gig from what many consider as being the definitive lineup of Weather Report.
As it was filmed in 1976, many of the songs from Black Market, which had just been released, are featured. Notable for the arrival of young bass virtuoso Jaco Pastorius, the addition of the Oberheim Prophet polyphonic synthesizer to Joe Zawinul's bank of keyboards and the title track which, with its sweetly voiced melody, intensifying rhythms and doubled basses achieves the kind of unity you wouldn't expect from a band in constant flux
Alex Acuna and Manolo Badrena are on particularly fine form - sit back and prepare to be amazed as they perform Rumba Mama (later to appear on WR's next album)
