i thought it was a film. watched 5 minutes which was enough.
half the story was missing on this disc
By now, you should be familiar with the storyline - widowed Nancy Botwin takes to dealing marijuana to keep her kids in their home in the gated community of Agrestic. In this series Conrad tries to re-establish his grow house, Andy becomes involved in the adult entertainment business (and that is as much as I'm saying) and Celia and Doug reach new heights (and depths) of sarcasm and sneakiness. A slight downer is Mary Kate Olson who plays Silas' new pot head holy-roller girlfriend - she gurns her way through countless scenes and it is hard to tell whether she is a bad actor or genuinely high, a shame when the rest of the cast are so superbly good.
Otherwise though, Weeds 3 is tip-top.
i have really enjoyed the weeds series i didn't want it to finnish, it's not to everyone's taste but if you get over the fact that the plot is a bit far fetched there are some really funny and engaging caracters. i am not sure if there is another series but i could definatly watch it .
I SAW SEASON 1 AND 2 THOUGHT THEY WERE GREAT A BIT DISSAPOINTED WITH THIS ONE THOUGH STILL ENJOYED WATCHING IT

There is no change to the formula of Weeds for Season 3. This is not a criticism, just letting you know the same things that are so great about it are there, as are the flaws.
The cast are also all the same, which is quite impressive to me as at least one person is usually replaced/leaves in these kinds of things....
No spoilers here.
I personally do not think Weeds is a great TV series of our time. However it is entertaining, easy, and at times very moving. It also has some killer one-liners and when it delivers it works really well. My gripe is with the veiled homophobia (excused I am sure by having a consistent young lesbian character, however that doesnt excuse what happens to the gay character early on in the disc, which is played for laughs)...
Also Mary Louise Parker - who I adored in the West Wing and numerous movies, sometimes goes through the motions. I often think the side players - and especially the children - outshine her.
ive championed this series to everone but unfortunatly the 3rd series runs out of a bit of steam (smoke) no story for the criminally underused brother in law it kinda rolls along and wraps everything up very neatly and it felt a little sad at the end that its all over. its still a great series if not hitting the highs of the previous two. along with entourage and the shield this is the best american tv in the past few years

excellent as always..

This show is so good i wish id bough the dvd. I really didnt want to send it back!
Its very funny adult comedy, with excellent acting and production.
Watch the extras. If 'Good Morning Agrestic' was really on tv, id get up early to cook along with the boys.
You should only really attempt to watch Season 3 if you have watched previous ones. But this is probably the least enjoyable as it's sooo dark with none of the dark humour in the first two seasons. At points you just wanted it to end. Overall, however a really entertaining series full of great characters that are easy to lave and hate.
