Gary Wallace is at high school. He's not very athletic and not at all popular, especially with the girls. It's Friday night and he and his pal Wyatt are popping corn and watching videos. Inspired by a clip from Frankenstein they decide to see whether they have the power to produce another human being according to their specifications. With the help of their computer, fed with pictures of gorgeous centrefolds and wired up to all sorts of household gadgets they get some weird science going! The noise is deafening, there's thunder and lightning, a heavy rainstorm, and Gary and Wyatt are scared witless... and then she appears. Lisa is beautiful, steamy, breathless and the answer to every man's dream. She has materialied for Gary and Wyatt, not to be a genie, but to adjust their lives. And with many wonderfully funny situations and a great soundtrack, Lisa turns Gary and Wyatt from zeroes into heroes.

One of John Hughes least successful films

Less Than Zero (1987) After a few bit parts in projects like John Hughes’ Weird Science and TV’s Saturday Night Live, Robert Downey Jr got the critics’ attention with this 80s drama about wealthy young adults growing up in L.A. Downey’s role as the drug-addicted Julian won him rave reviews, but has also been attributed to the actor’s real-life descent into drug abuse. A certain Brad Pitt has an uncredited role, for which he was paid $38. Watch the trailer | Find... Read more
