LOVEFiLM Review
-
By Tom Charity from LOVEFiLM
James Gandolfini, Melissa Leo and Kirsten Stewart hammer out some home truths in this contrived but well-meaning emotional drama.

awe-struck love it

[Highly rated reviewer]
Kristen Stewart is the star of this movie without a shadow of a doubt, her on screen chemistry with Gandolfini is electric and the acting is superb. The way she plays Mallory is oscar worthy, and her supporting actors are just as good, this film is possibly my favourite film of the year even though it isn't a huge blockbuster, I feel the actors are so good BECAUSE it is a low budget picture and is beautifully directed by Jake Scott. I would recommed this film highly- Was this review helpful to you?

A film about paralyzing grief ..
By twosoddingcats (213 reviews) from Kingston-upon-Thames , 07 Aug 2012The parents of a 15 year old year who was killed in a car accident deal with their grief in different ways. The father seeks solace with a waitress lover and then with a runaway hooker (platonically, as a guardian figure) ..the mother is literally unable to leave the house, even to get the newspaper. This isnt a barrel of laughs but it shows how people can overcome their grief .and what happens when one person blames the other for the death of their child. Strong performances from Kristen Stewart and James Gandolfini.- Was this review helpful to you?

Terrible shows the actors up
By 3ts (28 reviews) , 11 Jul 2012Very bad the actors in this film deserve a better storey line surely, come on give them some credit. This film shows these actors up and when you have a good track record I would be gutted- Was this review helpful to you?
