Kristen Stewart is the star of this movie without a shadow of a doubt, her on screen chemistry with Gandolfini is electric and the acting is superb. The way she plays Mallory is oscar worthy, and her supporting actors are just as good, this film is possibly my favourite film of the year even though it isn't a huge blockbuster, I feel the actors are so good BECAUSE it is a low budget picture and is beautifully directed by Jake Scott. A film about paralyzing grief…..

The father seeks solace with a waitress lover and then with a runaway hooker (platonically, as a guardian figure)…..the mother is literally unable to leave the house, even to get the newspaper. This isn’t a barrel of laughs but it shows how people can overcome their grief….and what happens when one person blames the other for the death of their child. Strong performances from Kristen Stewart and James Gandolfini.- Was this review helpful to you?

Terrible shows the actors up
