  • Jurassic Park's more exciting older brother

Westworld is everything I wanted Jurassic Park to be, in terms of story dynamics. It is gritty, eerie, and really develops the idea of these machines gone wrong. The glassy eyes, straight faces and believability of the robots is the stuff kids have nightmares about. It was made at a time when movies had balls and didnt resort to cheesy kids or self-consciousness. Micheal Crichton also directed Coma, which has a similar eerie-as-hell feel. The last half hour of Westworld is awesome, there is hardly any dialogue, it is a simple primal battle of wits. If you do like this movie, also look at Coma, Capricorn 1, Assault on Precinct 13 (original), Southern Comfort, and 10 Rillington Place.

An oldie that I haven't seen since I was a kid. It was scary then, and it was just as good today. Yul Brynner is a man of few words in this film. A good growth of the main characters through to the end. Loved it.

A fantastic film which builds up from a rich person's fantasy land to a survival of either man or machine. Intense in the second half of the film, Could a themepark like Westworld be a reality in 50 years time?? I hope they get the bugs sorted before going online!!! A film to watch again and again.

Sci fi classic about millionaires theme park where guests can taste real wild west experience. Highly visionary and imaginative in its day although dated now. The computers go wrong and the robots go rogue and all hell breaks loose. A sort of original Stepford Wives meets Jurassic park

This is a well thought out piece of fiction for it's time that manages to avoid being ridiculously hammy. I'm sure this served as inspiration for some future greats too as it's a memorable watch.

Why oh why are you showing these films NOT in the correct screen ratio. This out is the fourth film that I have come across that is showing the film PANNED AND SCANNED. Why is this so?? You cannot watch when you know that you are losing 50% of the screen.
