Customer Review
By a customer from UK , 23 Jun 2008Nice music, well directed and some of the most beautiful whale scenes I've ever seen. You can dwell and relax watching this gigant mammals moving and playing in the waters of ocean - yet, there could be more of them. The movie is less than an hour long and there are many scenes of the camera crew, landscapes (stunning btw) and some other wildlife.
But still you'll remember the mood of diving with whales for a long time...- Was this review helpful to you?

Don't get your hopes up!
By Colin Hamilton from Dollar Scotland , 31 Jan 2006This DVD had all the opertunities to be great. Great topic, fantastic animals and even a good voice as narrator.
Unfortunately there is more time spent watching the boat and it's crew than there is showing the whales. The information rarely goes beyond what is general knowledge level. They hardly discuss the mutitude of species that are out there, in fact the programme spends more time watching dolphins rather than discussing the larger species. The filming of the whales when you see them is good enough but far too little of it.
For a programme dedicated to whale it was dissapointing. You get far more information on whales watching the blue planet series which doesn't spend half it's time filming the crew. This DVD is ok if you want a just to watch a easy going documentry just don't expect to learn much beyond basic level.- Was this review helpful to you?
