I'm a big fan of Richard Dreyfuss - he's a brilliant actor. I'm not a big fan of Bill Murray, although this one is from the days when he did make an effort rather than sleepwalking through the movie. The irritation factor in this film is high - I'm with Drefuss on this one - I wanted to kill Murray's character more than he did by the end.
Richard Dreyfuss is a class act but he is no competion for this classic Bill Murray performance. This film really works because the two leads are just perfect in their roles. If you like either of these actors then you should really love this film. There are too many belly laughs to write down here just rent it out and wet your knickers laughing. If Bill Murray had not been in Rushmore this would have been his best film.
