This could have been a really good thriller...

... unfortunately, it is not. Two great leading actors, a lot of suspense, a good story line... well, until the ending.

Without giving away the plot.... the sudden twist in the end is pathetic and totally unrealistic. How can a woman, who is otherwise so perceptive and clearly sensitive to hidden information, NOT KNOW that one of the closest persons in her life is a murderer? This does not make sense. Surely she would have noticed something different in this person beforehand.

Then we get one stereotype after the other - half death people who suddenly come alive again... the bath tube scene reminding you all too much of Fatal Attraction... well, and when at the end the suspense turns into a sadistic chase, this is exactly where I turned the DVD off....

We've seen this too many times before. What a shame.
