    Whatever happened to this film??

Back in 1999, i saw this film at the cinema without even knowing what it was about, who was it etc. It's a silly British teenage/fantasy/weird film set in the 1980s about a teenage lad trying to be popular in all sorts of groups to get the girl of his dreams. Very well you say, but the sub-plot is that his Grandfather 'Harold Smith' has magical powers. As strange as it sounds, this was not a bad little movie! im sure there are many who would disagree but i think i found a hidden jem of British film which i think has been cruely overlooked. Whatever happened to this film?

Rent This you wont regret it!

i really enjoyed this film, i also just happened upon it one day and absolutely loved it, too this day im convinced that if it'd had a catchy title it would be up there with the big earning films of the year,

the story is about a boy growing up in the 70's told from his point of view retrospectively, his dad 'harold smith' had magical powers and helped him through his teenage years..... its one of those films that you just cant descibe, so all i will say is that i lent it to all my friends and they loved it. seriously under rated film that also has steven fry in it.
