'When Worlds Collide' is classic science fiction cinema. Filmed in 1951, the special effects are very impressive for the day, but unfortunately show their age today.
The DVD itself is not very impressive. No extras, only the Trailer. There are subtitles and other languages. It's in mono sound and 4:3 pan and scan picture. It seems to be a VHS transfer. There is no digtial clean up either.
With that a side, the film is a classic, and it perfect for the die-hard sci-fi fans.
This film was later remaked into 'Deep Impact'.
