Natalie Portman stars as Novalee Nation, a pregenant young woman who gets abandoned by her country singer boyfriend one day. With nowhere to go, she spends her time in a Oklahoma Wal-Mart where her life changes for the better and worst of times. This is a heartfelt, touching, emotional and great drama that pulls you in. Portman is excellent, making her character really come to life and you root for her throughout the film. Ashley Judd is fantastic as her friend Lexie, with her strengh and good charm she's a great actress. Definaly one to check out for a girly night in or watch together with your loved ones.
