  • A pot boiler gone off the boil

Simply dreadful, this hackneyed melodrama has not aged well. Unlike those marvellous Hollywood romances that still seem somehow to suspend disbelief, this pot boiler has gone off the boil

A reflection of simpler times, set in Cornwall, this haunting tale of guilt & obsession is driven by an unfinished piano composition by a young woman who meets her death whilst sleep-walking.

Although repeated throughout the story, the music score is compelling & dramatic leaving you wanting to hear the completed piece. Like a lot of classic films of the time, more is left to the imagination, encouraging you to summarise the events for yourself. Very Enjoyable.
