This warmly engaging and winning romantic comedy has plenty of novel twists and witty turns. Sandra Bullock is sensational as the lonely Chicago subway clerk, who poses as the fiancée of coma victim Peter Gallagher after saving his life, much to the thrilled amazement of his family and the yearning of his sceptical brother, played by Bill Pullman. This smartly scripted Cinderella love story is crammed with charm and Jon Turteltaub's expert direction hits all the right emotional buttons.
"...Breezy and adorable....[With] good cheer and fine tuning....Ms. Bullock is the film's main attraction, bringing a warm smile and a winning array of mannerisms to her role..."
A pleasing romantic time-waster, with a leading performance that may charm, but it is not a film that will linger long in the memory.
great film well worth watching again and again.sandra bullock and bill pullman great chemistry. definatly a chick flick
Even if you aren't the romantic type you'll love this movie. With it's blend of comedy and romance and great acting this is one of the best films of all time. Bullock is at her best with her 'girl next door' image and the chemistry between the stars makes this highly watchable. With its great one liners and screwball comedy this is definately one to watch.
One of my favourite films of all time.
A truly 'nice' romantic comedy that I liked so much that I bought a copy and watched it over and over.
I so loved this movie its a typical girlie movie that is fun and entertaining from begining to end
Fab film to sit and watch with the gals on a hang over sunday!!!

A thoroughly enjoyable, funny, feel good romantic comedy. I'm not usually a big fan of Sandra Bullock, but she's good in this, and Bill Pullman is absolutely gorgeous. The pair have such great chemistry. This film won't fail to entertain you.
Probably the best romantic comedy of the 1990's! Oh and if you've not seen it, look out for the paperboy - easily missed but cracks me up every time! Enjoy.
