WILD THINGS, a veering, breakneck ride, proved surprisingly successful at the box office. It features director John McNaughton's (HENRY PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER, NORMAL LIFE) best talents: sinuous, layered storytelling, racy cinematography, and shocking plot twists. Richards and Campbell sizzle on the screen as they tease, seduce, and entrap. Lying somewhere between black comedy and psycho thriller, WILD THINGS is an unclassifiable, unforgettable original.

Things are certainly steamy in Florida in this eyebrow-raising thriller from Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer director John McNaughton. Scream's Neve Campbell and Starship Troopers's Denise Richards star as high-school students who falsely accuse teacher Matt Dillon of rape in a preposterous tale that's more notable for its X-rated scenes — a threesome among the leads, Campbell and Richards kissing, co-star Kevin Bacon's full-frontal — than for its great acting or script. There are a few nice twists, however, and the handsome cast clearly enjoys vamping it up in what is essentially a sexed-up, feature-length MTV video.
Convoluted courtroom thriller that plays games with an audience's expectations, but not well enough to capture its interest.
If you haven't seen this film....where on earth have you been??? The most gripping, fascinating clever thriller...EVER! The cast are tremendous...you're constantly surprised by the twists and turns. It's got everything...my all time favourite film!!!! A classic
Great plot, great twists, Great chicks! :-)
Worth watching for the women and the clever plot which unfolds.
A remake of classic horror film Friday the 13th is being planned but is likely to feature a few changes to the original plot, the Hollywood Reporter divulged today. Produced by Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form, the movie will still be set at Camp Crystal Lake, where characters met a grisly end in the 1980 original. However, it will feature a different killer this time around - but the camp counsellors will still be stalked one by one by the unseen slasher. The original starred Kevin... Read more
