Things are certainly steamy in Florida in this eyebrow-raising thriller from Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer director John McNaughton. Scream's Neve Campbell and Starship Troopers's Denise Richards star as high-school students who falsely accuse teacher Matt Dillon of rape in a preposterous tale that's more notable for its X-rated scenes — a threesome among the leads, Campbell and Richards kissing, co-star Kevin Bacon's full-frontal — than for its great acting or script. There are a few nice twists, however, and the handsome cast clearly enjoys vamping it up in what is essentially a sexed-up, feature-length MTV video.

    WILD CHILD GETS BACON

This is a raunchy, fast paced movie with a wierd and wonderfull cast incl. Kevin Bacon, Bill Murray, Matt Dillion and the lovely Neve Campbell.

The film starts seriously enough but then develops into a twisting, black comedy. I particlarly liked Bill Murray's cameo as an ambulance chasing lawyer.

Better than other 'teen movies' such as Cruel Intentions.

    Wild plots

What can I say but nothing but brilliant for this film, even though Matt Dillon would usually put me off! With enough twists to satisfy even the most harden thriller goer, nothing will prepare you for the whole truth! Definitely worth a watch but pay attention!

its rubbish but features fit babes

said it all really. rubbish film with too many unbeleivable plot twists. the saving grace are the two notable babes running around in bikinis and exposing a little more flesh from time to time than is actually necessary. if you dont like voluptuous babes that loook a bit fake and babrie then forget it

fantastic film with lots of plot twists

I did not have much information about this film but when watching it I found it to be really good. It has lots of twists and turns in it and has really good performances from Dillon, Bacon and Campbell. It keeps you engrossed and keeps you watching till the end. I can't compare it to any other film that I've seen. Definitely worth watching!

    5 million plot-twists later...

This looks and feels like a dire made-for-TV movie; the sort that plays on Channel 5 at 11pm and is watched by impressionable 13 year-old boys. It's shot as a sort of poor man's 'Miami Vice' and has been written by a man who thinks fake boobs and flaccid lesbian action is REALLY SEXY!!! What a pile of tosh this is - badly acted, ludicrously scripted and with the most stupid 'yes it's another twist coming up!' plot you've ever sat through. Utter balls. Matt Dillon's 'talents' are well suited to this no-brain dross.

    Very entertaining

Not really what I had expected, but turned out better!

The turns and twists in this movie are great and had me guessing right to the end.

A good combination of triller and sexual attention.

    Wildly entertaining

Wild Things certainly lives up to its title and does not disappoint. Based in an affluent harbour down in Florida, a school teacher, two students and a police detective set out to extort millions of dollars from a wealthy family but soon start turning on each other and greed sets in.

Wild Things is an extremely dark comedy and entertaining throughout. At times the plot twists are a little too frequent and become a little absurd towards the end. Nonetheless, its engaging, sassy and has two gorgeous creatures starring in the shape of Denise Richards and Neve Campbell.

    This really is wild!!!

Great cast, good plot. What essentially starts as a dark intriguing movie it turns out to be a black comedy with a lot of twists along the way.

The plot really does thicken and is a little far fetched. A good teen movie with some classic moments.
