    Kids love it

I got this for my daughter to watch as she is into BIG weather, but it ended up with the whole family watching it with open mouths, shows the BBC can still do good stuff

INFORMATIVE AND FUN FOR ALL THE FAMILY TO WATCH

This series is very imformative but with aid of computer generated special effects and the personal experiences of the narrator, other dimensions are added and an element of fun. Excellent for children and adults alike.

Missed these programs when they were on the Beeb. Presented by Donal McIntyre, he gives a fascinating insight into something we all take for granted the weather. Some terrifying footage of hurricanes and flooding make up this first dvd. A brilliant rental

    The problem is...

Your enjoyment of this series will depend entirely on your tolerance of Donal MacIntyre, the writer/presenter. While the subject matter was highly interesting his presentation - and he is in nearly every shot! - is just too narcicistic for my liking. I had to turn it off after about 20 minutes, which is a shame!

    Wild weather

I am a Geography teacher and I think this series is really excellent, it is presented in a dynamic, upbeat way which had my year 7 students captivated throughout the entire 'cold' episode. I hope the entire set are just as good.
